Hannah is a certified, professionally trained Labor & Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator and Placenta Encapsulation Specialist serving the greater Houston area. She is also the founder and owner of Brave Beautiful Beginnings.
As a patient and empathetic people-oriented person, Hannah has always felt drawn to pouring herself into others as they navigate life’s transitions. For Hannah, fulfillment comes from being there for others in difficult times of growth. After gaining some experience around childbirth, both through the birth of her own child and through supporting her friends through pregnancy and parenthood, becoming a doula was the most natural next step.
"Now that I am a mother, I realize the importance and the significance of the precious moments that turned me into a mother. Birth is commonly viewed as a very scary thing and many women have very traumatic birth experiences that can leave them feeling diminished, depressed, guilty, disrespected, bitter, and just plain scarred. My goal as a Doula is to help my clients have a beautiful, birthing experience - free of fear, no matter what that looks like. There is no "right" way to have a positive birth experience. I feel honored to be able to share my knowledge and experience with mothers and families to help guide them through this beautiful and transformative time."

Upon finding her calling, she immediately began researching doula certification organizations and went on to become a Certified Labor Doula through ProDoula Certification LLC. Hannah is also a certified Postpartum Doula, a certified VBAC Specialist, and a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist. She is CPR Certified as well and is currently completing the requirement to become a Certified Childbirth Educator. Her quest for the knowledge to professionally support her breastfeeding clients, led her to pursue certification as a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC).
Hannah strongly believes that birth can always be a positive and magical experience. She has a very calming and gentle presence and has a strong passion for birth and for her clients. Her priority is to make sure that her clients always feel empowered, well-informed, confident, respected, unafraid, loved and supported.

Hannah has a love for life and for trying new things, especially with the people she holds dear. One of her favorite hobbies is running although, Hannah admits that she isn’t all that good at it!
Hannah and her amazing fiancé, Joe have been together for 7 years. Joe has a little boy named Julian who is 9 and together, they have a daughter named Camila who is 5. Their favorite weekends are the ones full of adventure when they pick up Julian and the 4 of them go find some fun; on a camping trip, at the zoo, at the beach or the lake! She and her family live on the Northwest side of Houston and Hannah serves clients all over the greater Houston area.
